SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT CLASSES AT STONE CREEK
Stone Creek has developed a unique 10-week course for children, adolescents and young adults to support and improve healthy peer relationships and social functioning.
Parents are actively involved and included in the process. While children are learning and working, additional clinicians work collaboratively with parents. Parents will be educated and learn various tools to foster an environment where children become confident and able to apply their new skills with their peers in school and in their community.
Experts believe the pandemic has increased social isolation for students, resulting in decreased social competence and lower self-esteem.
