Stephanie Marks, LPC earned her Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston. While completing her graduate studies, Stephanie counseled children and adolescents in a residential treatment facility in Katy, Texas. She has experience treating youth struggling with trauma, sexual and physical abuse, neglect, depression, anxiety, behavior and conduct concerns, emotional disturbance, and body image and self concept issues. Stephanie also has experience fostering social and emotional well-being in Pre-School aged children as well as counseling adults and families. In addition to her current training, Stephanie is also interested in treating anxiety and depression through a holistic approach that incorporates counseling, nutrition, and exercise. She views each client as an equal partner in the therapeutic process, allowing them to create their own unique journey to self discovery. Stephanie believes strongly in an affective approach to therapy, supporting her clients unconditionally as they explore and understand their emotions and use them to facilitate positive life changes.
