Sparkle A. Reed, LPC earned her master’s degree in Mental health Counseling from Walden University after completing her undergraduate degrees at Baylor University in Anthropology and Sociology. She is currently working on her doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision specializing in Trauma and Crisis Counseling. She has worked with individuals, couples, families and groups, as well as treating children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics for depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, self-esteem and self-worth issues, postpartum depression, new motherhood transitions, and addictions. Sparkle has worked in a variety of mental health care settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community health care centers. She has training in several treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, play therapy, and motivational interviewing to provide clients with a personalized and positive experience through their mental health journey.
