Elisa Flynn, LMSW received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston and has an undergraduate degree in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona. Elisa has over 15 years of experience working with diverse populations. She began her therapeutic training at a residential shelter with children and adolescents who had experienced trauma and/or abuse, and has also worked with indigenous communities in Canada in the area of healing from historical trauma. She worked for three years with veterans and firefighters with PTSD and received her most recent training at Stone Creek with adults and adolescents primarily in the areas of depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Elisa works to create a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and find healing and growth. She sees therapy as a collaborative process between client and therapist, empowering clients to become their most authentic selves. Elisa is exclusively available for teletherapy appointments (online video conference or phone) during the evenings and weekends.
