Middle school is an important time of development and growth for an adolescent. The onset of puberty brings physical, cognitive, and emotional changes. Our Junior High Social Skills Classes are separated by gender and designed to help middle school students understand and cope with these changes while learning to navigate the social challenges that arise during Junior High. Members are supported to improve a variety of skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation to help them in developing and maintaining steady social connections.
High School Social Skills Class
In High School, adjusting to increased academic demands while navigating important interpersonal relationships can be difficult for many adolescents. These classes provide a safe place for high school students to connect and identify with others who may be coping with similar situations and challenges. High school classes are designed to support members to manage stress, anxiety and anger, improve self-esteem and develop coping skills to deal with peer pressure. Social skills classes provide a place for members to set and achieve goals, form healthy relationships and to feel empowered, confident and understood!
